Cincy Cyber Week | Event Recap and Resources

Cincy Cyber Week brought together cybersecurity and IT leaders, professionals, and job seekers for three days of interactive and engaging sessions. The week kicked off with virtual sessions and a networking happy hour on Tuesday, December 3rd, followed by two days of conference-style speakers and sessions at 1819 Innovation Hub.

On Wednesday, December 4th, leaders converged for the inaugural Cincy Cyber Summit where speakers and panelists explored the future of cybersecurity and IT. On Thursday, December 5th, stakeholders gathered to dig into workshops and breakout sessions dedicated to empowering and educating current and future cybersecurity and IT leaders. The event included built in time for networking, a virtual job fair, and the well-reviewed ‘women in cyber’ breakfast event.

The major takeaways from the conference included a focus on cybersecurity leadership & strategy; evolving threat landscapes & emerging trends; policy & compliance updates; workforce & talent development'; practical security implementations; and public-private partnerships rooted in enhancing safety and security in the digital age. Attendees were encouraged to conduct cybersecurity audits, invest in continuous threat intelligence and threat monitoring, explore ai-driven threat detection and response solutions, and strengthen community partnerships for threat sharing and crisis management.
